When the world ends, the speculation on what will happen is uncertain. But a bigger question arises when hypothesizing alien invasions or robots taking over, and that comes at the expense of a theory in which humans don't all die.

 

Do humans have to dissipate in order for the end of the world to be, in fact, the end? The scariest thing to imagine is the possibility that the entire race will be wiped out or that it'll become subject to control by another group. What happens then, if we don't all die? What will the end of the world look like?
